I haven't heard of that film. There is another called The red violin which you may know. It explores the impact on people's lives of a violin as it makes its way across the centuries.

The idea of predetermination is interesting. Some people believe all of life is already written, others that we have free will. I suspect some things are cat in stone but we have some wiggle room.Although that too may be a fantasy of the 'I' thought.
